Yapó
Located in the eastern region of Paraná state, Yapó is a small district that belongs to the municipality of Castro. The name comes from Tupi-Guarani language, meaning “source of running waters.” The district is primarily agricultural, with a focus on dairy farming and grain production. The area was originally settled by European immigrants in the 19th century and maintains much of its rural character today.
