Habarovsk

Habarovsk (also spelled Khabarovsk) is the administrative center of Khabarovsk Krai in the Russian Far East. It is located near the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri Rivers, close to the border with China. The city was named after the Russian explorer Yerofey Khabarov, who explored the area in the 17th century. Hanty-Mansiysk

Hanty-Mansiysk is the capital of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, located in Western Siberia. The name “Khanty-Mansiysk” comes from two indigenous groups—the Khanty and the Mansi—who have lived in the area for centuries. The city is also known for hosting international biathlon competitions and promoting winter sports.
